Authenticated content duplication via missing capability checks
Published Jan 13, 2026 · Updated Jan 13, 2026
Missing authorization in WP Duplicate Page 1.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to duplicate posts, pages, and HPOS orders. The duplicateBulkHandle and duplicateBulkHandleHPOS functions process bulk duplication requests without enforcing the configured allowed-role policy. Contributor-level access is sufficient to copy arbitrary content and orders, exposing copied data or causing duplicate order fulfillment.
