Unauthenticated arbitrary requests via forged network packets

Authentication bypass in Contemporary Controls BASControl20 3.1 allows remote attackers to send arbitrary requests over BACnet/IP. The controller accepts forged packets built from values exposed in sniffed network traffic, relying on attacker-controlled input for its security decision. An attacker must observe relevant network traffic before forging requests; successful requests can reconfigure, rename, or delete PLC components and invoke file transfers or remote procedures.
