Email disclosure via unrestricted AJAX data selection
Published Jan 24, 2026 · Updated Jan 24, 2026
Sensitive information exposure in WP Directory Kit 1.4.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to retrieve Directory Kit user email addresses. The unauthenticated wdk_public_action handler dispatches a select_2_ajax request that selects the user_email column from the user_m table and returns matching records as JSON. No account or user interaction is required; disclosure is limited to email addresses associated with Directory Kit-specific roles.
