Credential capture via unchecked SSH host keys
Published Apr 9, 2026 · Updated Apr 9, 2026
Key exchange without entity authentication in Juniper Networks Apstra before 6.1.1 allows remote attackers to impersonate managed devices. The SSH client accepts managed-device host keys without sufficient validation, so a man-in-the-middle system can present an attacker-controlled key. The attacker must intercept Apstra-to-device SSH traffic; successful impersonation exposes credentials but does not interrupt service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
