Sensitive attribute disclosure via visibility-policy bypass
Published Feb 2, 2026 · Updated Feb 2, 2026
Information disclosure in the Keycloak Admin API in Red Hat build of Keycloak allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive custom attributes. The /unmanagedAttributes endpoint returns custom-attribute values without applying the User Profile visibility policy assigned to the requesting administrator. A limited administrator account and configured sensitive attributes are required; the reported consequence is read-only disclosure without write or service impact.
