Published Dec 12, 2025 · Updated Dec 12, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Bukazu Search Widget 3.3.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject browser scripts. The bukazu_search shortcode places its user-supplied shortcode attribute into generated page output without sufficient sanitization or context-appropriate escaping. Contributor-level access is required, and the stored script executes only when a visitor opens an injected page.
