Stored XSS via unescaped shortcode button text
Published Dec 21, 2025 · Updated Dec 21, 2025
Stored XSS in WishSuite 1.5.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through the wishsuite_button button_text attribute. The includes/templates/wishsuite-button-add.php template renders the attribute as button text without sufficient sanitization or output escaping. Contributor-level access is required to store the payload, which executes whenever a visitor accesses the injected page.
