CVE-2025-13823

Service interruption via malformed IPv6 packet sequence

Published Dec 15, 2025 · Updated Dec 15, 2025

Denial of service in the IPv6 stack of Rockwell Automation Micro850 and Micro870 V23.011 allows remote attackers to fault controllers. Rockwell Automation has not disclosed which IPv6 parser operation fails; multiple malformed packets trigger recoverable fault code 0xFE60. IPv6 must be enabled and reachable from the adjacent network, and service remains interrupted until the fault is cleared.
