Unauthenticated configuration disclosure via improper session validation
Published Mar 13, 2026 · Updated Mar 13, 2026
Missing authentication in ABB AWIN GW100 rev.2 2.0-0 and 2.0-1 and AWIN GW120 1.2-0 and 1.2-1 allows remote attackers to read configuration data. The embedded web server accepts an unauthenticated query because session validation does not properly enforce authentication, exposing system configuration and sensitive details. Exploitation requires adjacent-network access to a gateway behind the site firewall; no user interaction or prior account is required.
