CVE-2025-13750Network attack vector

Subscriber-level image variant deletion via unchecked REST route

Published Dec 17, 2025 · Updated Dec 17, 2025

Missing authorization in Converter for Media 6.3.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete optimized image variants. The /webp-converter/v1/regenerate-attachment REST route processes arbitrary attachment identifiers without a capability check, removing existing WebP and AVIF files. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and the reported consequence is limited to optimized variants rather than original attachments.
