CVE-2025-13744Network attack vector

Sensitive-data exfiltration via stored Filter HTML injection

Published Jan 6, 2026 · Updated Jan 6, 2026

Stored XSS in GitHub Enterprise Server 3.14.0 through 3.19.0 allows remote authenticated users to exfiltrate sensitive data. The Filter search component renders attacker-controlled HTML from names of milestones, issues, pull requests, and similar entities without adequate neutralization. The attacker needs permission to create or rename one of those entities, and exploitation occurs when another user loads the crafted content in a vulnerable filter or search view.
