Social-login unlinking via missing nonce validation
Published Nov 28, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
CSRF in Nextendweb Nextend Social Login 3.1.21 and earlier allows remote attackers to unlink a user's social login. The unlinkUser function accepts the account-unlinking request without correctly validating a WordPress nonce that proves request intent. Exploitation requires a signed-in site administrator to follow an attacker-controlled link, severing the affected user's social-login association without changing other account data.
