Arbitrary form creation via unchecked AJAX authorization
Published Jan 7, 2026 · Updated Jan 7, 2026
Missing authorization in Fluent Forms 6.1.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to create arbitrary forms through its AI builder. The fluentform_ai_create_form AJAX handler accepts authenticated requests without a capability check before persisting the generated form. Subscriber-level WordPress access reaches the action, and successful exploitation adds attacker-defined forms to the site.
