Root code execution via untrusted checkpoint deserialization

Deserialization in Tencent HunyuanDiT's merge endpoint allows context-dependent attackers to execute code as root through a crafted file. The endpoint accepts attacker-controlled checkpoint data for model merging and passes it to PyTorch's object deserializer without constraining the input to safe tensor data. Execution requires the target to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file, after which embedded deserialization logic runs with the application's root privileges.
