Author-level stored XSS via Custom scripts setting
Published Dec 21, 2025 · Updated Dec 21, 2025
Stored XSS in WPChill Image Photo Gallery Final Tiles Grid 3.6.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via Custom scripts. The gallery renderer in lib/gallery-class.php places the saved Custom scripts value into generated page output without sufficient sanitization or context-appropriate escaping. Author-level access is required to save the payload, and the injected script executes whenever a user opens the affected gallery page.
