Authenticated command execution via job subroutine input
Published Mar 3, 2026 · Updated Mar 3, 2026
OS command injection in IBM DataStage on Cloud Pak for Data 5.1.2 through 5.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. The job subroutine component places improperly validated user-supplied input into an operating-system command context. A low-privilege authenticated account is required, and resulting commands run with normal user privileges, limiting effects to that account's system access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
