Gallery state changes via nonce-free bulk actions
Published Dec 2, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
CSRF in Photo Gallery by Ays 6.4.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter gallery states through forged bulk-action requests. The process_bulk_action() function accepts delete, publish, and unpublish operations without verifying a WordPress nonce. An administrator must interact with an attacker-controlled request while authenticated, enabling gallery deletion or visibility changes under that session.
