Unauthenticated order-status modification via unchecked REST callback
Published Dec 6, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in HelloPrint WooCommerce Plugin 2.1.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify WooCommerce order statuses. The public complete_order_from_helloprint_callback REST handler accepts an order reference ID and updates the matched order without verifying request authenticity or authorization. Possession of a valid order reference ID is the only reported gate, allowing unauthenticated changes to stored order workflow state.
