Arbitrary file write via CAB path traversal
Published Dec 9, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Path traversal in Ivanti Endpoint Manager before 2024 SU4 SR1 allows remote authenticated users to write arbitrary files via crafted CAB files. The CAB parser uses a user-supplied path in file operations without restricting it to the intended extraction directory. Exploitation requires user interaction; combined with other flaws, the write supports code execution as NETWORK SERVICE.
