Local memory disclosure via unvalidated dynamic symbol strings

Buffer over-read in GNU Project elfutils 0.192 allows local users to disclose process memory through malformed ELF input passed to eu-readelf. In readelf.c, process_symtab uses an unvalidated dynamic-symbol string offset when the -D or --dynamic path reads dynsym/str data, allowing output past the allocated string buffer. Exploitation requires local execution against attacker-controlled ELF input, and exposed bytes can reveal adjacent process memory in command output.
