Local process crash via unchecked USB metadata

Stack-based buffer overflow in eScan Antivirus 7.0.32 for Linux allows local users to crash passPrompt with crafted USB metadata. The program copies USB serial numbers with sprintf and manufacturer names with strcpy into fixed stack variables without length checks. A low-privileged local user can supply oversized command-line values; the published demonstration overwrites RBP and crashes the process.
