Administrator-level stored XSS via unescaped club ID
Published Jan 14, 2026 · Updated Jan 14, 2026
Stored XSS in Makesweat for WordPress 0.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through the club ID setting. The setting update path stores makesweat_clubid without sufficient sanitization, and the plugin renders the saved value without output escaping. Administrator-level access is required; injected JavaScript runs in the browser of any user who opens a page containing the stored value.
