Reflected XSS via unescaped PHP_SELF form action
Published Dec 6, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Reflected XSS in Dennis Ploetner myLCO 0.8.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts via a crafted request URL. At myLCO.php line 438, the plugin writes attacker-controlled $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] into an HTML form action without sanitization or output escaping. Execution requires a victim to follow the crafted link, after which the script runs in the affected site's browser origin and can read or alter page-accessible data.
