CVE-2025-13587Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Authenticated 2FA bypass via token parameter

Published Feb 19, 2026 · Updated Feb 19, 2026

Authentication bypass in Neoboffin LLC Two Factor (2FA) Authentication via Email 1.9.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to skip 2FA. SS88_2FAVE::wp_login() enforces the second factor only when the token GET parameter is absent, so any supplied value, including an empty value, skips enforcement. Exploitation requires valid WordPress credentials for an account with the plugin's 2FA enabled; it grants access without the emailed token but does not bypass the password.
