Unauthenticated database access via unsanitized email parameter
Published Nov 23, 2025 · Updated Nov 24, 2025
SQL injection in SourceCodester Company Website CMS 1.0 allows remote attackers to access or alter database data without authentication. The reset-password.php handler inserts the POST email parameter directly into a SQL query without sanitization or parameter binding, enabling crafted SQL and time-based blind queries. The public proof of concept reaches the password-reset endpoint without login and demonstrates a MySQL SLEEP delay; broader database impact depends on the application's database privileges.
