Web-server crash via unchecked submit-url copy
Published Nov 23, 2025 · Updated Nov 24, 2025
Stack buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-822K 1.00_20250513164613 and DWR-M920 1.1.50 allows remote authenticated users to crash the web server. The formWanConfigSetup handler copies the submit-url request value into a fixed-size stack buffer with strcpy and no length check, overwriting adjacent memory. The CNA scores the attack as requiring low privileges; both public reports state that authentication is unnecessary, although their example requests include session cookies.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
