Stored script injection via nonce-free AJAX actions
Published Jan 7, 2026 · Updated Jan 7, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in smjrifle SVG Map by Smjrifle 1.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject stored scripts. The save_data, delete_data, and add_popup AJAX handlers accept state-changing requests without valid nonce checks, allowing map settings and popup content to be modified or deleted. Exploitation requires a logged-in site administrator to open an attacker-controlled link or page; the forged request can alter settings, delete map data, or store script content.
