Unrestricted file upload in Brainstorm Force SureMail 1.9.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code via emailed attachments. The save_file() function copies attachments into a web-accessible directory without validating extensions or content types and assigns predictable MD5-derived names. Exploitation requires a public form that emails attachments and a server where PHP executes despite the plugin's Apache-specific directory protection.
