Stored XSS via missing CSP sandbox header
Published Dec 4, 2025 · Updated Dec 4, 2025
Stored XSS in Sonatype Nexus Repository 3.83.0 through 3.86.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in a victim's session. A regression stops applying the Content-Security-Policy sandbox header to certain user-uploaded repository content, so a browser interprets the payload. Exploitation requires upload permission to a hosted repository or control of content fetched through a proxy repository, and a victim must load that content.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
