Unauthenticated code execution via unrestricted form callback
Published Dec 3, 2025 · Updated Dec 3, 2025
Code injection in Advanced Custom Fields: Extended 0.9.0.5 through 0.9.1.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code. The acfe_module_form_front_render::prepare_form() method passes the user-controlled form[render] callback and form arguments to call_user_func_array() without restricting the callable. No authentication is required, but a page containing an ACF Extended form must expose a valid nonce; successful exploitation can create an administrator account or fully compromise the site.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
