Unauthenticated database access via unsanitized search
Published Nov 20, 2025 · Updated Nov 20, 2025
SQL injection in SourceCodester Online Shop Project 1.0 allows remote attackers to read or alter database data through a crafted search. The action.php endpoint places the POST search parameter directly into a MySQL query without sanitization or parameter binding. No authentication is required; boolean-, error-, time-, and UNION-based payloads can disclose database contents, alter queries, or interrupt service.
