Page metadata modification via nonce-free AJAX actions
Published Feb 19, 2026 · Updated Feb 19, 2026
CSRF in Dieno Digital Page Title, Description & Open Graph Updater 1.02 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify page metadata. The dieno_update_page_title and related AJAX handlers accept state-changing requests without validating a WordPress nonce before writing page titles, descriptions, and Open Graph fields. Exploitation requires a site administrator with an active session to activate an attacker-controlled request; the resulting changes are limited to page metadata.
