Database disclosure via unescaped plugin search parameter
Published Dec 29, 2025 · Updated Dec 29, 2025
SQL injection in Jeff Sterup Plugin Organizer before 10.2.4 allows remote authenticated users to read WordPress database data. The PO_perform_plugin_search AJAX action inserts the attacker-controlled PO_plugin_path value into plugin-search LIKE clauses without effective escaping or query preparation. Subscriber-level access and saved global-plugin settings expose a time-based injection oracle that can extract sensitive database information.
