HTTP service interruption via Live List dereference

NULL pointer dereference in the Webserver module of Softing smartLink SW-HT 1.43 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt HTTP service. When a higher-revision HART device is scanned, the Live List dereferences a null pointer instead of handling the device revision safely. Reaching the condition requires high privileges, active user interaction, and a connected higher-revision HART device; the resulting outage recovers automatically.
