CVE-2025-13400Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated memory corruption via unchecked chkHz append

Published Nov 19, 2025 · Updated Nov 19, 2025

Buffer overflow in Tenda CH22 firmware 1.0.0.1 allows remote attackers to corrupt memory through a crafted chkHz request. The formWrlExtraGet function appends the user-controlled chkHz value to a fixed 2,048-byte v35 buffer with strcat without checking its length. The unauthenticated HTTP endpoint is network-reachable; the published proof of concept demonstrates the vulnerable request, while service interruption and code execution remain possible but unverified outcomes.
