Authentication bypass in Synology DSM 7.2.2 before 7.2.2-72806-5 and 7.3 before 7.3.1-86003-1 allows remote attackers to access SSO with a known DN. The SYNOPAMSSO::samlAuth method permits authentication through a mechanism that should be disabled, accepting the supplied DN without normal authentication. Exploitation requires network access and prior knowledge of the target DN; the published record does not define the resulting account privileges.
