Stored XSS via unsanitized GET array persistence
Published Nov 25, 2025 · Updated Nov 25, 2025
Stored XSS in the BestWebSoft Job Board WordPress plugin 1.2.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts through job searches. The save-search path writes the unsanitized GET array with update_user_meta, then profile and saved-search views output its values without escaping. Exploitation requires a user to perform and save an attacker-crafted search; the stored script then runs when affected data is viewed.
