URL setting modification via missing nonce validation
Published Dec 12, 2025 · Updated Dec 12, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in IMAQPRESS IMAQ Core 1.2.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter URL structure settings via a forged request. The URL structure settings update handler accepts state-changing requests without validating a WordPress nonce before saving attacker-supplied settings. Exploitation requires a logged-in site administrator to act on attacker-controlled content, and the documented consequence is limited to plugin URL configuration changes.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
