Unauthenticated arbitrary options update via public forms
Published Dec 3, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in DynamiApps Frontend Admin 3.28.20 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify WordPress options via public forms. ActionOptions::run() accepts attacker-controlled admin_options fields without capability checks or adequate validation of permitted option keys. A publicly accessible Frontend Admin form is required; changes to users_can_register and default_role can enable administrator account creation.
