Unauthenticated file read via unconstrained PWA path
Published Dec 10, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Path traversal in Hippoo Mobile App for WooCommerce 1.7.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files. The template_redirect() handler concatenates the hippoo_serve query value into a PWA file path without confinement and passes the result to readfile(). No authentication or user interaction is required; disclosure is limited to files readable by the web-server process, including WordPress configuration secrets.
