Authenticated command execution via unsanitized host parameter
Published Nov 17, 2025 · Updated Nov 17, 2025
OS command injection in D-Link DWR-M920, DWR-M921, DIR-822K, and DIR-825M 1.1.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The formDebugDiagnosticRun handler formats the host parameter into a command buffer with sprintf and passes it unchanged to system(). A valid administrator session is required; shell metacharacters permit execution with web-server privileges, including device crash or data access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
