CVE-2025-13304Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Web-server crash via unchecked host formatting

Published Nov 17, 2025 · Updated Nov 18, 2025

Stack buffer overflow in D-Link DWR-M920 and related router firmware 1.01.07 and 1.1.47 allows remote authenticated users to crash the web server. In DWR-M960, sub_420E40 uses sprintf to copy the request's host parameter into a 256-byte stack buffer without checking its length. The demonstrated request makes the management interface unreachable; the CNA rates low privileges as required, while the reproduction claims no authentication but includes a session cookie.
