CVE-2025-13292Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Cross-tenant data access via metadata token theft

Published Dec 6, 2025 · Updated Jan 30, 2026

Improper privilege management in Google Cloud Apigee X before 1-16-0-apigee-3 allows remote authenticated users to access cross-tenant data. The sandbox permits an API proxy to target the link-local metadata endpoint after removing X-Forwarded-For, exposing the message processor service-account token and enabling a malicious Dataflow JAR to obtain a cross-tenant identity. Administrative or developer-level access in the attacker's own Apigee organization is required; the chain reads access logs and reads or writes analytics data across other tenants.
