Unauthenticated SQL injection via interpolated login username
Published Nov 17, 2025 · Updated Nov 17, 2025
SQL injection in Online Banking System allows remote attackers to alter the customer-login query through the public login form. In index.php, the uname request value is copied into $username and interpolated inside a quoted SELECT statement before mysql_query executes it, without escaping or parameter binding. Authentication is not required to submit the form, and crafted input can change the query logic and compromise customer data confidentiality and integrity.
