Authenticated database manipulation via unsanitized magazine ID
Published Nov 17, 2025 · Updated Nov 17, 2025
SQL injection in SourceCodester Online Magazine Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate database queries. The view_magazine.php endpoint builds a database query from the user-controlled ID parameter without neutralizing injected SQL syntax, enabling blind injection. Low-privilege access is required, and successful exploitation can read or alter application data or interrupt database-backed service operations.
