Remote code execution via unsanitized upload path
Published Nov 17, 2025 · Updated Nov 17, 2025
Path traversal in lsFusion Platform 6.0 and 6.1 allows remote attackers to upload files outside the intended directory via sid. UploadFileRequestHandler appends the unvalidated sid value and unrestricted uploaded filename to APP_UPLOAD_FOLDER_PATH before writing the file. The unauthenticated upload endpoint permits placement of a JSP file in a web-accessible directory, enabling code execution under the web server account.
