Unauthorized access via embedded shared credentials
Published Nov 16, 2025 · Updated Nov 17, 2025
Hard-coded credentials in ModulithShop 45a99398cec3b7ad7ff9383694f0b53339f2d35a allow remote attackers to access protected resources. AuthConstant.java embeds one RSA key pair and a shared OAuth2 client secret, RSAUtil.java embeds another key pair, and CodeGenerator.java contains database credentials. The public source or a decompiled binary exposes the values, enabling OAuth client impersonation, database access, and decryption or forgery where the corresponding keys remain trusted.
