Horizontal privilege escalation via unchecked job identifiers
Published Nov 16, 2025 · Updated Nov 17, 2025
Improper access control in WeiYe-Jing DataX-Web 2.1.0 through 2.1.2 allows remote authenticated users to alter other users' jobs. JobInfoController passes user-supplied job identifiers to remove, update, start, stop, and trigger operations without calling the available validPermission check. Any regular account can modify, delete, start, stop, or trigger another user's synchronization job, exposing job data and disrupting or redirecting synchronization.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
