CVE-2025-13244Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Stored script execution via registration username

Published Nov 16, 2025 · Updated Nov 17, 2025

Stored XSS in Code Projects Student Information System 2.0 allows remote attackers to store script code through the registration username. The register.php handler applies clean() to the submitted username, inserts the result into the students table, and later renders accepted script markup when that account logs in. No account is required to submit the registration; execution requires a user to log in to the created account, exposing browser-accessible data to the stored script.
