Arbitrary file deletion in Tanium TanOS allows local users authenticated as tanadmin to delete files on the Tanium Server. Tanium has not published the vulnerable component, entry point, or file-selection operation responsible for the unrestricted deletion. The flaw affects 1.8.4.0000 through 1.8.4.0228 and 1.8.5.0000 through 1.8.5.0261; exploitation requires existing high-privilege tanadmin access, and deletion can compromise server data or interrupt service.
